Not just a regular rebranded gift card that you would get online for app store purchases. But a real physical credit card.
We see this as an opportunity for Apple to step up on the financial market. It will be easy for them since they have a great reputation delivering good hardware and software.
Apple credit card is coming really soon, since we can expect iPhone update (iOS 12.2 beta) already implementing and testing the Apple card.
Benefits
Apple is claiming to reward all users of the Apple card with 2% cash-back on all purchases. We don’t know exactly where that will be available, therefore some countries might be restricted.
Who knows, Apple card might be easier to add to your Apple wallet by a touch of a card and touching once your screen to connect, as simple as connecting the AirPods to the iPhone.
